Can I use any CPAP mask with the ResMed AirMini?Updated 3 days ago

By default, the ResMed AirMini™ is designed to work only with specific ResMed masks that are compatible with its unique tubing system. However, with the right adapter, you can use most standard CPAP masks—including masks from other brands like Philips Respironics.

🔌 Out of the Box: Limited Compatibility

The AirMini is compatible without any adapters with the following ResMed masks:

• AirFit™ P10 for AirMini

• AirFit™ N20

• AirFit™ N30

• AirFit™ F20

• AirTouch™ F20

• AirFit™ F30

These masks require special setup packs designed specifically for the AirMini system.

✅ Want to use your own mask?

Yes, you can—with the help of an adapter.

We offer the ZephAir Adapter, which allows you to:

• Use any standard CPAP mask (including nasal pillow, nasal, or full-face masks from any major brand)

• Connect the AirMini to standard tubing

Important:
If you’re using the ZephAir Adapter, you’ll also need ResMed SlimLine tubing (15mm) made for the AirSense 10.
This tubing is the only type that properly connects to the ZephAir and ensures safe, effective therapy.

💧 What about humidification?

If you're using one of the ResMed setup packs, these include HumidX™ or HumidX™ Plus cartridges—small, waterless humidifiers that fit between the mask and tubing to provide added moisture during therapy.

However, if you're using the ZephAir adapter with your own mask, the HumidX system is not compatible.
Instead, you can purchase HME (Heat Moisture Exchange) filters, which offer a similar waterless humidification experience. These:

• Capture moisture from your exhalation and return it on inhalation

• Require no water or power

• Are compact and ideal for travel
