Like all CPAP masks the F30i may leave red marks where it touches the face, such as the cushion and frame. However, the AirFit F30i is designed to minimize red marks and pressure sores by utilizing a soft, under-the-nose cushion instead of a traditional full-face mask that covers the bridge of the nose.

Since the mask eliminates contact with the upper part of the nose, it significantly reduces pressure in that area, making it ideal for users who frequently experience irritation or skin indentations. However, some users may still experience mild red marks if the mask is over-tightened. To avoid this, it is recommended to adjust the headgear properly and ensure that the correct cushion size is being used.
