Does the AirFit F30i work well with high-pressure settings?Updated 4 months ago
The AirFit F30i is designed to accommodate a range of CPAP and BiPAP pressure settings, but its performance at higher pressures can vary depending on the individual user. Some patients report that very high-pressure settings (above 16 cmH₂O) can sometimes lead to minor leaks, particularly if the cushion is not fitted properly.
Since the cushion sits under the nose rather than forming a seal around the entire nose, it may be less effective at maintaining a strong seal at extremely high pressures compared to traditional full-face masks like the ResMed AirFit F20. Users who require higher pressures should ensure they have the right cushion size and adjust the headgear snugly without over-tightening to optimize performance.
