How do I select the correct size frame?Updated 3 days ago
While the cushion size plays the biggest role in sealing your mask properly, the frame size is equally important for overall fit and comfort - especially with full face masks or masks with magnetic clips.
🧠 Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Most mask frames are universal across sizes
For many popular masks (like the ResMed AirFit F20, F30, N20, and N30i/P30i), the frame is a standard size that works with all cushion sizes.
For example:
The AirFit F20 frame fits Small, Medium, and Large cushions.
The N30i/P30i frame comes in two frame sizes (Small and Standard) to match your head size—not your cushion size.
So:
Choose your cushion size based on the printable sizing guide
Select your frame size based on your head shape and facial width
📏 How to choose the right frame size (if applicable):
If a mask offers multiple frame sizes (like Small, Standard, or Large), here are general guidelines:
Head Size / Face Width | Recommended Frame Size |
---|---|
Petite / narrow face | Small |
Average / most users | Standard (or Medium) |
Broad / wide face or jawline | Large |
If you're on the borderline between two sizes, we generally recommend trying the Standard frame first.
