Why does my P30i mask make a whistling or hissing noise?Updated 2 months ago

Whistling or hissing noises usually occur when the mask's vent holes become clogged with dust, moisture, or debris. This can be resolved by cleaning the quiet vent elbow regularly with mild soap and warm water. Another potential cause is worn-out or damaged nasal pillows or tubing, which can create small leaks that produce noise.

If cleaning doesn’t help, inspect the mask for any signs of wear, such as cracks or stretched-out parts, and replace them if necessary. Additionally, ensure that the exhalation ports are not blocked, as restricted airflow can lead to excessive noise during exhalation.
