Do the AirSense 10 and AirSense 11 use different tubing?Updated 15 days ago

Yes, while the AirSense 10 and AirSense 11 machines are both made by ResMed and have similar therapy features, they use different heated tubing connections, and it’s important to use the correct tube for your machine.

🔌 Key Differences in Tubing

AirSense 10SlimLineClimateLineAir™ (for AirSense 10)
AirSense 11SlimLineClimateLineAir™ 11 (specific to AirSense 11)

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • ClimateLineAir tubes are not cross-compatible between AirSense 10 and 11 due to different electrical connectors.

  • If you upgrade from an AirSense 10 to an AirSense 11, you’ll need to also upgrade your heated tubing to the ClimateLineAir 11.

  • Standard tubing (non-heated) can typically be used with either machine, but you’ll lose the benefits of heated humidification, like reduced rainout and more comfortable humidity levels.

✅ How to Know Which Tube You Have

Look near the end of the tubing:

  • AirSense 10 ClimateLineAir has a rectangular plastic connector with two small electrical contact points.

  • AirSense 11 ClimateLineAir has a different shape and contact design that only fits the newer model.
